Once inhabited by humans, it was declared a free land decades ago by herd leaders who did not wish anything to befall herds who decided to reside here. Now, this can be a dangerous place for mares, but is nice to roam and has lots of places to be secluded. Old Cornfields go on for miles, with a decrepid barn that looks like it is ready to fall set the scenery. Not suitable to hold a herd, but just perfect for a free land. Sound's romantic, doesn't it. This tends to be, and it is where many mares reside without a herd, waiting to be swept off of their feet, or mabye something more... Not even the darkest stallions could claim this place away forever, and none ever will, it will remain a freeland until the end of time. (1 sub-board) This was the site of the first herds, and have had some of the kindest leaders here. It is a great place, with Fields extending for miles, and a small bubbling brook near the southern ends is the main water source. Moderator: Jello 4 4 .Banking Meadows. (1 sub-board) Essentially, this territory is a large meadow, or field with some light hills throughout. A quite pleasant place to live, it has some trees, grass, and two large creeks connected by a medium sized pond. Moderator: Jello 2 32 ...Waterlands... .Oceanview. (1 sub-board) Miles of sand and tides cover most of the terrian. Near the Western ends of this territory you may find long grasses perfect for eating, and small single secluded caves. There is a pull from the ocean, and it can be quite dangerous! Moderator: Jello 5 84 .Round the Riverbend. (1 sub-board) Mostly grass, this territory is known, and named for the river cutting it in two. It is quite large, and could house two herds on either side of the river, or one large one. It is impossible to cross the river, except during the dry summer months when the water is low. It could mean death to cross when it is not dry. Moderator: Jello 0 0 ...Desertlands... .Neverending Sand. Endless sands, dunes, and not a drop of water for miles. Occasionally you may find an oaisis, and if you dig deep enough there may be a drop of water, mabye two. (1 sub-board) The Outback is right next to the desert, with temperatures just as hot, and land just as dry. Fortunately, there is more brush and trees, but they are almost all dry as well. It is a bit rougher than the Sandy Desert, but just as hard to survive in. There is an old well, and if you have a way to get to the water you may use it, but there may be an oaisis here too. Moderator: Jello 1 30 ...Mazelands... .Lost Caves. (1 sub-board) Endless caverns, just one cave yet it seems like fifty. This territory is mostly underground, though in the above sea-level areas there may be bits of grass, but all the water, though a bit murky, is underground and is completely pure. It is a bit damp and you may find a skeleton or two from horses that died here, but all is well. Moderator: Jello 2 48 .Evergreen Forest. (1 sub-board) Densely packed evergreen trees make it seem like a winter wonderland year round. If you can find it, there is a lake in the center, and grass throughout the territory. You have to know how to get around, however, it is easy to get lost!
