 SUGAR, i WOULD DiE <<ifiwereyou>>
« Thread Started on Nov 20, 2008, 8:29pm »

ooc; this is taken from another rp site, but rest assured that I posted it. xD I did have to change the scenery some.

Some things never end well. Some stories are never told. To bad, some are worth listening to. Koe stood still, the only movement was the heaving of her sides, her breath. Her dark, brown eyes were closed, her body in a state of lazy peace. Ha. Like that was even a state of mind for Koe. Crazy Koe. Ahaha. Koe had been sane once, a long time ago, when the only pain was the lack of food and the dizzying heat. But she'd lost too much, and if you loose things, you know that after some time it's unbearable. It makes you laugh when your sad, it makes you angry at the simplest of remarks. "I'm Johny". Hello no, you aren't. You idiotic retard. Koe isn't always crazy. Only when she's angry. But she isn't sane the rest of the time either, she just merely isn't as bipolar. No love in her. But she can make you laugh, if you have dark humor. Her hair seemed to stand on end as she looked over the dark land, her thick lashes closing over her dark brown eyes. This was not where she wanted to be, with the moody scenery and the ominous feel about the place. Honestly, she just wanted to go home. Home. A place she no longer had, no longer hated. She yearned for her mother...For Kara, not the mother she long forgot, the one that sent her away. for a better life, sure, but to Koe it didn't seem so anymore. Sucking in a steady breath, the vixen moved forward. Into the world, away from her head. Her chestnut coat gleamed with sweat, her mane and tail ragged in the wind. The life of a lonesome girl. Slender, Arabian appendages carried her slowly, too tired to move properly, with the fluidity and grace Koe knew was her own.

Silent and distant, Koe watched the crying and cawing birds, the black raven flap her mighty wings and fly, so free. Freedom. Something she had always yearned for, and now she had it. But why was she so...alone? It made her crazy with confusion, and she always looked back on when she was a yearling, with Kara, and freedom was something she had to earn. It was always the pride on Kara's dark little face, her cold eyes lighting up, that made Koe happy, not actually gaining the freedom. Another sharp breath. Kara. d**n it, why did her thoughts drift to Kara? the old mare was dead, and Koe needed to forget. Forgive the gods for taking her, all though she was looking for vengeance. "Let me hope" the words were said aloud, but were meant for only her ears."Let me hope I'm not loosing my mind..Crying for someone long dead." A stifled sob wrenched her throat, not for herself, but for the lost life of Kara. Mother Kara. Trying to rid herself of the thoughts, Koe sped up her pace to a gallop, passing dozens of trees and shrubs, everyone alike to the other. Whatever. Passing by the stupid trees without noticing a difference was fine. She didn't know where she was going, but she'd probably end up somewhere completely different in the end. She was here for a 'home', anyways. Where the mares were bitter and snappy, looking for attention, and had many narcissistic stallions. Or maybe just one narcissistic stallion. A herd. She shuddered at the thought. It wasn't that she hated herds, but she hadn't had the experience for so long it seemed so different to her.

And there Koe stopped, not in a clearing, but a city. The walls crumbled and were decayed, and she breathed in the smell of rot. Her tail ripping behind her like a banshee, ready for the action. Her jaw was set, her eyelids over her eyes in a lazy manner. Koe put on her big girl boots, making sure no one would ever notice the turmoil inside, the hyperactive, dancing Kara in her mind. Come and get it boys.

As Vulcan entered the changing terrain, he breathed in the new air. It was rather stale, compared to the saltiness of Arenoso's, but not the worst it could be. He trotted on, still tracking the same scent since the last night. The one he was following was already far away, which was what took him so long, but now the trail was getting stronger and stronger the farther he traveled. He knew whe would find her soon.

The stallion's orange pelt expanded with each inhale, Vulcan stopped to take a break. He looked around, glancing at each rock and rubble. Chevelle had mentioned The Dead City to him early in Vulcan’s life. He spoke of finding many of his harem in the area, and even though Vulcan despised him, he went where he father had gone long ago.

Found you… wow, simple yet pretty. We’d make lovely foals together.
Vulcan watched as the petite mare walked, far away but in his line of sight. Eager to reach her before she could bolt, Vulcan began cantering toward the chestnut vixen. It did not take long, and soon he was only several paces from her, swishing his tail to show his curiosity. It would be normal for him to introduce himself, but he played differently this time; instead he stared deeply at the mare, waiting for her to speak or act.

The cool breeze blew in only the most dead smells, of must and decay. It was so annoying; to be there, like a lost foal, waiting for her mother to come along. She was a strong headed mare, Koe was, but she hated to admit she needed other equine, needed to have the comfort of a home. After Kara's passing, it had been hard for Koe. She had never really lived alone for so long, and at first she had been very panicked. Again, the wind blew dead kisses against her cheeks, whistling softly in her ears. It was brutally honest. Death always found you, like it had found this city.

It was that same wind that blew to her the scent of a stallion. Koe was alert that single second, but soon relaxed her body. She had spotted him, orange in color by the sun, with two fore leg stocking and a star. He was standing there, almost like he was dim, waiting for her to react. A smile slipped onto her face, her tail slapping like a whip behind her. Tilting her head to the side, she put on a facade he would never be able to see through. "You been there long? Last I heard, it's not nice to stare" she cooed, her eyes cold. Hopefully he wasn't the good-for-nothing happy sort, who were just too easy to get along with. Forgave you if you murdered, telling you they loved you. Kara had told her a story of one of her mates, a light as she called them, who loved her deeply and literally did forgive her after she murdered their foal. Kara never gave birth to a live foal after that, they all turned out to be still born or she had a miscarriage.

Koe stepped towards him, letting her Arabian legs lift her away from her own world and into the real world, where she actually had to speak to others. "You should come talk to me" she added simply, forcing a smile onto her face that probably looked more like a smirk. Maybe he was her only hope of a life, and she wasn't going to let him pass by without a fight.
